James B. was born in 1849. James B.'s father was John P. Keahey and his mother is Winnie Godwin. His paternal grandfather was James ,Jr. Keahey and his paternal grandmother is Lydia Autry. He had three sisters named Euphemia Aver, Jane and Mary. He died at the age of 76 in 1925.-
