George's father was George Washington Keahey and his mother was Louisa J. Hall. His paternal grandfather was John Samuel Keahey and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Ann Hunt. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry Calvin, John, Earnie, Marian, Mary Alecia and Bell.-
