Frances Helen was born on December 19th, 1916 in Los Gatos,California. Frances Helen's father was William Henry Keahey and her mother was Mary Luther Bull. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Smith Keahey and Martha Elizabeth Robertson. She had three brothers and six sisters, named William Luther, Doy Melton, Delton Elisha, Lela Ann, Leona Bessie, Lula May, Lena Ella, Linnie Ethyl and Juanita Bell. She is the second youngest of the ten children.-
