James Washington Johnston 
James Washington was born on May 28th, 1861 in Austin Co.,Texas. James Washington's mother is Susan B. Evetts. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Givens ,Jr. Evetts and Mary Penelope Dodson. He had a sister named Eliza M.. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 76 on August 30th, 1937.
James Washington and Annie F. were married in a religious ceremony on December 15th, 1880 in Austin Co.,Texas. They had three sons and a daughter, named Walter, Dallas, James Whitley and Annie Laurie.
