General Notes

Aline Jane  is not kin to me. But her mother Bertha was married to my Uncle Tom. Tom was married before also. He had a son who he let his In-Laws raise. I do not have the marriage date far Tom an Bertha so I do not know if she died before her mother married my uncle. I was born in 1941 so at least 9 years had passed  after her death. Tom did not want to raise his son Thomas. But Thomas Jr. told me that Bertha always made him feel welcome. We lived very close to my Aunt and Uncle and my Aunt always made me and Ann, my sister , feel very special. I think it was because we took a small part of the the hurt away from losing this child. Even as a grown adult when I would visit my Aunt Bertha she made over that I had come to visit with her. I have added Aline Jane because I feel she is a lost sister to me and I do not want my Aunt Bertha's child to become lost in time because my Aunt Bertha was a very special person to me.
