Bertha was not blood Kin , but my Uncle Tom was somewhat of a black sheep of the family. Tom was her second husband and she was his second wife. His first died in child birth. My Aunt Bertha was VERY SPECIAL to me as I grew up. It was not until I was 61 years old that I discovered why my Aunt always treated my sister Ann and I as if we were a little closer kin. For the rest of the story see the information about Aline Jane Haynie on this family program. She was put into the program because I did not want the child of this wonderful woman to be forgotten.
