Mary Hankins 
Mary was born in 1776 in Virginia. Mary's father was John Hankins and her mother was Elizabeth Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Moses, Rachel, Lucinda, Rebecca, Sarah, Lydia and Parthenia. She is the oldest of the nine children.-
