Robert Silas was born on February 15th, 1897 in Arkansas. Robert Silas' father is James Jefferson Graham and his mother was Sarah Ellen Graham. His maternal grandparents were Silas Marion Graham and Cynthia Jane Winningham. He had six brothers and a sister, named Elbert Sylvester, Erastus D., Tolbert Hill, James Carlos, Orville Dewey, Otho Mond and Irene Rose. He is the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
