James Jefferson and Sarah Ellen were married in a religious ceremony on October 20th, 1887 in Benton Co.,Arkansas. They had seven sons and a daughter, named Elbert Sylvester, Erastus D., Tolbert Hill, James Carlos, Robert Silas, Orville Dewey, Otho Mond and Irene Rose.
