Franklin was born on March 7th, 1876 in Scott Co.,Mississippi. Franklin's father was Westley R. Graham and his mother was Susan Eliza Murrell. His paternal grandfather was John Graham and his paternal grandmother is Demarious Chapman. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named C. T., John Lee, Willie, Ossie, Bailey Benton, Charlie, Fate, Nan and Sudie. He died at the age of 6 on October 23rd, 1882 in Scott Co.,Mississippi. He was buried in Salem Cemetery,Scott Co.,Mississippi.-
