Elmer Marion was born on March 2nd, 1891 in Gatesville,Coryell Co.,Texas. Elmer Marion's father was James Duncan ,Rev. Graham and his mother was Samantha Clercy Rogers. His paternal grandparents were Ozias Denton ,Dr. Graham and Martha Matilda Thornton; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Lafayette Rogers and Sarah Ann Emaline Lamb. He had four brothers and five sisters, named George Washington, James Franklin, Edwin, Sterling Price, Martha Ann, Edna Pearl, Mittie Mae, Nettie Lee and Jennie Dean. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 90 in November 1981 in Aroma,LeFlore Co.,Oklahoma. He was buried in New Hope Cemetery,Spiro,LeFlore Co.,Oklahoma.-
