Nelson Gilreath

Nelson was born in 1816 in Greenville County,SC. Nelson's father was Jesse Gilreath and his mother is Mary Jane Bruce. His paternal grandparents were William Gilreath and Mary Arrington. He has five brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, John Wesley, George Holton, Jabez Franklin, Caleb, Isabel, Penel and Hannah. He is the second youngest of the nine children.
