Was adopted by Louis and Amelia Franke when the Hages died soon after they arrived in America. His Sister Minnie and Brother Willie were adopted by the Lebrecht Bolt family. His brother Herman was also adopted by the Franke Family. His grandson Preston Franke Jr. believes he was about the age of 5 or 6 when he was adopted. I have inserted the name Hage into the family history line because I do not want this brave pair of people who left their homeland in Germany to come to America to be lost and forgotten. The Franke family and the Bolt families were good people to take on the children of the Hages . He was a farmer and a rancher. He lived in Goliad Co., Texas. Buried in Woodlawn Cementry. He resided in the weser community since 1911.
