Thomas' father is Fletcher Edwards and his mother was Mary Jane Gore. He has a brother and a sister, named Mark Fletcher and Elizabeth. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named John E., Notley Gore, William Richard, Henry Ellison, Mastin, James Manon and Eleanor.
