William Jackson was born on April 13th, 1846 in Robeson Co.,North Carolina. William Jackson's father was John Calvin Currie and his mother was Margaret Keahey. His maternal grandparents were John Keahey and Elizabeth Patterson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Angus Dodridge, John Calvin, James Burder, Newton Bethune, Archibald Keahey, Elizabeth Caroline, Isabella Amanda, Margaret Jane, Mary Jane and Flora Ann. He died at the age of 82 on March 16th, 1929 in Maxton,North Carolina.-
