Verna Forest was born on June 16th, 1888 in Bagdad,ShelbyCo,KY. Verna Forest's father was John Cox and her mother was Lillie Mae Scrogins. Her maternal grandparents were William Samuel Scrogins and Mary Edna Wade. She had a brother and two sisters, named Emeral Guy, Mary and Ruby Willie. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 87 on December 7th, 1975. She was buried in 1975.-
