Ruby Willie was born on November 11th, 1901 in Bagdad,ShelbyCo,KY. Ruby Willie's father was John Cox and her mother was Lillie Mae Scrogins. Her maternal grandparents were William Samuel Scrogins and Mary Edna Wade. She had a brother and two sisters, named Emeral Guy, Verna Forest and Mary. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 86 in 1987.-
