She had five brothers and six sisters, named James Richard (Union), John Henry (Union) , Jr, Esmond (Union), William Grant, Robert E. "Long Bob", Elizabeth, Susan, Georgiana, Juddy Ann Carolyn "Sudia", Gabriella "Gabe" and Caroline. She is the oldest of the twelve children.General Notes
