James Harvey Allen 
James Harvey's father was Isaac Milton Allen and his mother is Nancy Katherine Dye. His paternal grandfather was Joseph Allen and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Harris. He has six brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, George W., John, Douglas, Joseph, Bluford M., Maria, Alice and Jane.
They had two sons and five daughters, named Charles Marvin, Eddie Milton, Mattie F., Lydia Ermine, Ella, Sudie and Lena.
