Eddie Milton's father is James Harvey Allen and his mother is Celia Underwood. His paternal grandfather was Isaac Milton Allen and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Katherine Dye. He had a brother and five sisters, named Charles Marvin, Mattie F., Lydia Ermine, Ella, Sudie and Lena.
