Simon de Montfort

Simon was born about 1068 in Montfort Amaury, Ile de France, France. Simon's father was Simon I Le Chauve de Montfort and his mother is Agnes d'Evereux. His paternal grandparents were Amauri II de Montfort and Bertrade de Gometz; his maternal grandparents were Richard d'Evereux and Godeheut Borell of Barcelona. He had a brother and a sister, named Amauri III and Bertrada. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Amauri the Strong, William and Isabel (Elizabeth). He died after 1101.
