Edward de Montague

Edward was born in 1309 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Edward's father was William de Montague and his mother was Elizabeth de Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Simon de Montague and Hawise de St. Amand; his maternal grandfather was Peter II de Montfort and his maternal grandmother is Matilda de la Warre. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Simon, William II and Mary. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 52 in 1361.
