Eleanor de Braose

Eleanor was born in 1185 in Bramber, Sussex, England. Eleanor's father was William III de Braose and her mother was Maud de St. Valerie de Haye. Her paternal grandfather was William II de Braose and her paternal grandmother is Bertha de Pitres de Hereford; her maternal grandparents were Reginald Bernard IV de St. Valerie and UNKNOWN Matilda. She had eleven brothers and four sisters, named Roger, Giles, Robert, Thomas, William IV the Younger, Walter, Hugh, Henry, Bernard, Reginald, John, Flandrina, Joan, Laurette and Margaret. She died at the age of 56 in 1241.
