Anthony was born in 1442.  Anthony's father was Richard Wydeville and his mother was Jacquetta de St. Pol of Luxemburg.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Wydeville and Elizabeth Joan Bedlisgate; his maternal grandparents were Pierre I of Luxemburg and Marguerite de Baux del Balso. He had eight brothers and seven sisters, named John, Lionel, Edward, John, Lewis, Martha, Thomas, Richard, Elizabeth, Margaret, Anne, Jacquetta, Eleanor, Catherine and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the sixteen children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard and Mary.  He died at the age of 41 on June 25th, 1483 in Pontefract Castle.
