Dorothea Volck

Dorothea was born in March 1754 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Dorothea's father was Jacob Daniel Folk and her mother was Mary Dewees. Her paternal grandparents were Andreas Volck and Anna Catharina Meckel. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Johannes, Wilhelm, David, Daniel, Carl, Maria and Benigna. She is the second youngest of the eight children.
