Samuel Trumbo 
Samuel was born on July 1st, 1821 in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Samuel's father was William Trumbo and his mother was Susan L. Dyer. His paternal grandparents were George Trumbo and Margaret Rockefeller Oats. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Emmanuel, George, Elijah, Hezekiah, Lavina, Josephine, Caroline, Ruhama, Susannah, Mary and Anna. He died at the age of 59 in 1880 in Pendleton County, West Virginia. He was buried in Warnstaff Family Cemetery, Pendleton County, West Virginia.General Notes
Samuel had at least two wives, possibly three. Some children may be
offspring of wives other than Mary. Mary's certain proven children are
