William Sr. Thompson 
William Sr. was born in November 1785 in Pennsylvania. William Sr.'s father was William Thompson and his mother was Esther Chalfant. His paternal grandparents were James Thompson and Ruth Alexander; his maternal grandparents were William Chalfant and Esther Baker. He had two brothers named Aaron and Joshua. He was the youngest of the three children. He had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Mordecai, Levi, John, Barak, George, Joseph, David, Robert, Sarah, Hannah, Ann and Esther. He died at the age of 37 on January 22nd, 1823 in Pennsylvania or Harrison County, Ohio.-
