Robert Thompson 
Robert was born about 1745 in Ireland. Robert's father was James Thompson and his mother was Ruth Alexander. His paternal grandparents were John Thomson and Esther Hale; his maternal grandfather was John Alexander. He had four brothers and a sister, named Alexander M., Samuel, James, William and Esther. He is the second youngest of the six children.-
