Cause of Death:<CAUS> died of burns resulting from a fire in her coal oil stove
Some Sutton family records (Samuel Sutton line) list her birth on
November 12, 1861, others(William Sutton line) list January 12, 1861,
while her great-grandaughter, Peggy Maness Stokes (Fenton Sutton line),
has her birth on November 2, 1859. Peggy also shared the following
information in 21 Nov 2003 email: "Maggie Ann's birth date was 2 November
1859-Died 17 March 1911.  Grandmother (Opal) use to speak of Maggie's
death.  I think I'm right in saying this.  Margaret Ann got up one
morning and was lighting the coal oil stove and her gown caught on fired
and she ran outside.  In a nearby field John Francis caught her and put
her out.  She had long lovely hair and was burned badly and set the field
on fired.  She lived a few days and passed.  I have a newspaper clipping
somewhere on this passing.  I also have the marriage certificate.  My
name is a nick name for Margaret.  I am the 12th generation from the
first in the America's----Elder John Strong 1605.  After this I have
nothing.  John Francis Busey born 12 Nov 1861 and died 9 Nov 1943.  He
was a successful farmer in Ill and was one of the very first American's
to ship a Shetland Pony to the states from England.  I have a picture of
it.  My grandmother always called him "Daddy Pa"...The land "Daddy Pa"
owned is still owned by my uncle Harry John FitzGillon in Ill. 1000 acres
near Champaine,Ill."
