Her paternal grandparents were William Anthony Strode and Elizabeth Upton; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Barley and Margery Stroud. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named William, Barnard, John, Edward, Essex, Thomas, Anthony Jr., Benjamin, Elizabeth, Jane, Joanna and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She died in Pennsylvania or Ramsbury, Wiltshire, England.General Notes
