Jane Strode 
Jane was born in 1640 in Barrington, Somersetshire, England. Jane's father was William Anthony Jr. Strode and her mother was Margery Barley. Her paternal grandparents were William Anthony Strode and Elizabeth Upton; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Barley and Margery Stroud. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named William, Barnard, John, Edward, Essex, Thomas, Anthony Jr., Benjamin, Joane, Elizabeth, Joanna and Mary. She is the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.-
