John Jacob Stoudt 
John Jacob was born in 1776 in Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. John Jacob's father was Jacob Stout and his mother was Margaretha Catherine Spohn. His paternal grandparents were Johann Michael Stoudt and Maria Barbara Houghen; his maternal grandparents were Johan Heinrich Spohn and UNKNOWN Catherine. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Adam, John Henry, Daniel, Maria, Elizabeth, Anna Margareth, Barbara and Catherine. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died after 1793.-
