Daniel Stookey 
Daniel was born in 1783 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Daniel's father was Abraham Stookey and his mother was Barbara Shobe. His paternal grandparents were Johan Jacob Stucki and Magdaline Shaver; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Schaub and Anna Barbara Heyer. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Jacob, Benjamin, Mary, Hannah, Dorothea, Susannah, Elizabeth, Sarah and Glory. He died after 1812.-
