Peter Asbjornson Stenehjem

Peter Asbjornson was born in 1813 in Sogndal, Sogn, Norway. Peter Asbjornson's father was Asbjorn Peterson Stenehjem and his mother was Martha Larsdatter Stenehjem. His paternal grandparents were Peter Espenson Stenehjem and Kari Asbjornsdatter Stenehjem; his maternal grandparents were Lars Aamundson Stenehjem and Ingeborg Sveinsdatter Engeseter. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lars Asbjornson, Amund Asbjornson, Hans Asbjornson, Ingeborg Asbjornsdatter, Kari Asbjornsdatter and Kari Asbjornsdatter. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 22 in 1835 in Sogndal, Sogn, Norway.
