Ole Amundson Stenehjem

Ole Amundson was born on May 18th, 1848 in Sogndal, Sogn, Norway. Ole Amundson's father was Amund Asbjornson Stenehjem and his mother was Kari Olsdotter Qualey. His paternal grandparents were Asbjorn Peterson Stenehjem and Martha Larsdatter Stenehjem; his maternal grandparents were Ole Baardson Qualey and Gjertrude Olsdotter Arvoll. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Andreas Amundson, Peter Amundson, Johan Amundson, Lauris Amundson, Martha Amundsdatter and Johanna Amundsdatter. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 53 on February 22nd, 1902 in Black Hammer Township, Houston County, Minnesota.
