Arnold L. was born on February 19th, 1898 in Near Kindred, Cass County, North Dakota. Arnold L.'s father was Lauris Amundson Stenehjem and his mother was Alette Grondahl. His paternal grandparents were Amund Asbjornson Stenehjem and Kari Olsdotter Qualey. He had a sister named Myrtle. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Arthur Orlando and Cora Hazel. He died at the age of 79 on June 16th, 1977. He was buried in Kindred Cemetery, Cass County, North Dakota.-
