Allen Skidmore 
Allen was born on January 27th, 1821 in Braxton County, West Virginia. Allen's father was Andrew Jr. Skidmore and his mother was Margaret Hudkins. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Skidmore and Margaret Johnson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Felix, David, James, Naomi, Susan, Mary F., Eleanor, Sally and Eliza. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 62 on November 5th, 1883 in Braxton County, West Virginia.-
