Daniel Shobe 
Daniel was born on July 25th, 1780 in Grant County, West Virginia. Daniel's father was Jacob Shobe and his mother was Margaret Stooky. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Schaub and Anna Barbara Heyer; his maternal grandparents were Johan Jacob Stucki and Magdaline Shaver. He had a brother and three sisters, named Jacob Jr., Hannah, Catherine and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 51 on April 29th, 1832 in Ross County, Ohio. He was buried in Shobe-Mallow Cemetery, Ross County, Ohio.General Notes
