Newton Shaver 
Newton was born on October 26th, 1868. Newton's father was John Riffle Shaver and his mother was Sarah Cordelia Cunningham. His paternal grandparents were James H. Shaver and Elizabeth Campbell. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Clement Lawrence, Benjamin, James, Joseph, Charles, Mary and Mattie. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 in 1947.-
