James Otis Shaver 
James Otis was born on July 7th, 1856 in Marion County, West Virginia. James Otis' father was William Shaver and his mother was Josina Hill. His paternal grandparents were John Shaver and Leah Norris. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Napoleon Bonaparte, Benjamin Franklin, William Parker, Luther H., Sylvanus L., Winfield Scott, Elizabeth, Rosina R., Josephine B. and Helen Virginia. He is the second youngest of the eleven children.-
