Jacob Granville Shaver 
Jacob Granville was born about 1839 in Marion County, West Virginia. Jacob Granville's father was Jacob Shaver and his mother was Tabitha Griffen. His paternal grandparents were William Shaver and Leah Norris. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William Henry, Edgar, Edith, Dorcas T., Prudence, Mary C., Cassey Salina and Harriet. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died on August 10th, 1893 in Harrison County, Virginia (now West Virginia).-
