Ruth was born on September 8th, 1788 in Hardy County, Virginia. Ruth's father was Jacob Randall and her mother was Amelia Jochem. Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Jochem and Elizabeth See Zeh. She had two sisters named Elizabeth and Jemima. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 60 on August 19th, 1849 in Monon, Indiana.General Notes
