John Ramsey 
John was born on February 13th, 1793 in Virginia. John's father was James Ramsey and his mother was Ruth Van Meter. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Van Meter and Ruth Hedges. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, James V. and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the four children. He died after 1826 in Crawford County, Ohio. He was buried in Sandusky Cemetery, Crawford County, Ohio.-
