There may be some relatives among those listed in the LIVINGSTON COUNTY,
ILLINOIS MARRIAGES UP TO 1900 by Dennis V. Carter. Jerome K. Quaife is
listed along with both of his brides. Also listed are: Ida M. Quaife who
married Perry Davis in Livingston County on 1/29/1879; Mary E. Quaife who
married F. A. Hickman on 10/13/1878, and Myrtle Quaife who married Horace
Schott on 1/14/1897. Since they married in the same county at about the
same time period as Jerome K. Quaife, they may be his sisters or cousins.
Clayton Priewe (cpriewe@@yahoo.com) lists his birth in Pontiac, Illinois
and his death in about 1896. He also lists a third wife (unknown name) as
the mother of Harold.
Some sources list his birth in New York in 1850 and his death in 1918 in
Grand Ridge, Illinois with burial in Pontiac, Illinois.

His obituary in the newspaper listed his birth in Otter Creek Township of
La Salle County while Jerome stated in census that he was born in Aurora,
Illinois.
