Wladyslaw II the Exile of Cracow was born in 1105 in Poland.  Wladyslaw II the Exile of Cracow's father was Boleslaw III Sjaevmunde of Poland and his mother was Sbislava Svyatopolkovna of Kiev.  His paternal grandparents were Wladyslaw I (Herman) of Poland and Judita of Bohemia; his maternal grandparents were Svyatopolk III Mikhail of Kiev and Elene Polovetzkaja of Kumanien. He had a sister named Agnes of.  He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Boleslaw IV of Cracow, Mieszko III the Elder of Cracow, Casimir II the Just of Cracow, Ryksa of, Judyta of and Agnieszka of.  He died at the age of 54 on May 30th, 1159.

‌Wladyslaw II the Exile of Cracow and Agnes de Babenberg of were married in a religious ceremony about 1127.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Boleslaw I the Tall of, Mieszko I of and Richitza Swentoslawa of Silesia.
