Ryksa of was born on April 12th, 1116. Ryksa of's father was Boleslaw III Sjaevmunde of Poland and her mother was Adelheid (Salome) of Berg-Schlklingen. Her paternal grandparents were Wladyslaw I (Herman) of Poland and Judita of Bohemia.
