Joseph Paxson 
Joseph was born on September 10th, 1733 in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Joseph's father was Thomas Paxson and his mother was Jane Canby. His paternal grandparents were William Paxson and Abigail Pownall; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Canby and Mary Oliver. He had six brothers and a sister, named Henry, Oliver, Jacob, Jonathan, Isaiah, Benjamin and Rachel. He died at the age of 77 in 1810.General Notes
