Olav II (St.) Haraldsson of was born about 0995 in Bonsnes farm, Ringerike, Buskerud, Norway.  Olav II (St.) Haraldsson of's father was Harold Grenlander Gudrodsson Grenske and his mother was Asta Gudbrandsdotter Kula Rane.  His paternal grandfather was Gudrod Bjornsson and his paternal grandmother is UNKNOWN Cecilie; his maternal grandparents were Gudbrand Kula and Ulfhild Torasdatter. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Guthorm, Harald III Hardrade Sigurdsson of, Halfdan Sigurdson, Gunnhild and Ingrid Sigurdsdotter.  He died on July 29th, 1030 in Battle of Stiklestadt on the Trondheim fjord, Norway.  He was buried in Nidaros Cathedral, Trondheim, Norway.
