Laura Martin 
Laura was born on May 13th, 1875 in Greenbrier County, Virginia. Laura's father was William Robert Martin and her mother was Susan J. Gilkerson. Her paternal grandfather was William Robazon Martin; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Madison Gilkerson and Mary Crawford Shaver. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, William Harvey, Leo Ernest, Glennie Franklin, Mary Jane, Margaret Lula, Sarah Alice and Hazel Beatrice. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 38 on November 13th, 1913 in Miami County, Ohio.-
