Donald of was born about 1243. Donald of's father was William of Mar and his mother was Elizabeth Comyn. His paternal grandfather was Duncan of Mar; his maternal grandparents were William Comyn and Margaret Buchan. He was an only child. He died after July 25th, 1297.General Notes
